Ci Munro's specialist transport engineering arm, Action Motor Bodies (AMB), has been in the transport engineering industry for more than 15 years designing and building customised Truck Bodies, Decks, Trailers, Horse Trucks, Ute Bodies, Ute Trays and Lock-Up Trailers.
AMB is also heavily involved in other specialist projects, most recently providing District Health Boards around New Zealand over 90 mobile dental units (pictured below) to service schools in rural areas. The design of these units was no mean feat, presenting a number of challenges that AMB’s design and build expertise have overcome; maximum internal space with minimum external dimensions is required, functionally to allow enough space for the surgery and logistically to keep the curb weight at a level suitable for class one license holders.
Each unit is also visually impressive, not only due to the clinical fitout, but the innovative design concepts AMB has incorporated.
